RWA Sharjah is an IB Candidate School

Raffles World Academy, Sharjah (RWAS) is a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP).

As the newest member of the Innoventures Education family, RWAS benefits from the experience and expertise of its sister IB schools. Raffles World Academy, Dubai International Academy, Emirates Hills and Dubai International Academy, Al Barsha which are all authorised IB World Schools offering the full IB Continuum. Their successful IB journeys provide valuable insight and guidance as we continue our own journey as an IB candidate school.

At RWAS, we are committed to providing a high-quality international education that develops knowledgeable, caring and internationally minded young people. Through inquiry-based learning, meaningful connections and a focus on personal growth, students are encouraged to become confident learners, critical thinkers and active contributors to their communities.

Supported by experienced educational leaders, dedicated staff and the wider RWA community, we look forward to continuing our progress as an IB candidate school and sharing updates along the way.

*Raffles World Academy Sharjah is a candidate school for the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP). This school is pursuing authorisation as an IB World School. IB World Schools share a common philosophy, a commitment to high quality, challenging, international education that we believe is important for our students.

Only schools authorised by the International Baccalaureate Organization (IBO) can offer any of its four academic programmes: the Primary Years Programme (PYP), the Middle Years Programme (MYP), the Diploma Programme (DP) or the Career-related Programme (CP). Candidate status gives no guarantee that authorisation will be granted. For further information about the IB and its programmes, visit www.ibo.org
